A 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer, Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, died from a fatal pulmonary embolism after undergoing a cosmetic genital enlargement procedure in Bangkok, Thailand, an inquest at Inner West London Coroner’s Court concluded.
The Fatal Procedure and Timeline
- The Injections: On March 5, 2026, Ubiribo underwent a cosmetic procedure at an unnamed clinic in Bangkok, where he received approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid filler and lidocaine injected into his penis to increase girth.
- Medical Emergency: Following the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen, returned to their hotel and went for a massage. During the massage, Ubiribo complained of severe chest pains and lost consciousness twice.
- Hospitalization: He was transported by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital. Although initially conscious and able to answer basic questions, he passed out again before doctors could perform a recommended CT scan.
- Resuscitation Attempt: Medical staff transferred Ubiribo to the intensive care unit and performed CPR for over 100 minutes, but he was pronounced dead in the early hours of March 6.

- High-Profile Burial: Ubiribo was buried in London in a gold-colored coffin estimated to be worth over $745,000. His funeral was attended by prominent figures, including childhood friend and Afrobeats star Davido, as well as media personality Cubana Chief Priest.
