Once linked, a “Chat on WhatsApp” button will appear when people find your business on Google — allowing them to message you with a single click.
✅ If You Already Have a Google Business Profile:
Follow these steps to connect your WhatsApp Business number:
- Open your Google Business Profile and go to Edit Profile > Contact.
- In the Chat section, click the Down arrow.
- Choose WhatsApp.
- Enter your WhatsApp click-to-chat URL (you can create it here:
https://wa.me/<yourphonenumber>). - Click Save.

- Use a valid WhatsApp Business number in international format (e.g.,
+254712345678for Kenya). - You can add more than one WhatsApp Business number to your profile if needed.
